1. Taste of Thai

With over 50 five-star Yelp reviews, Taste of Thai is a fairly new dining spot that has found great favor with the locals. They serve lunch and dinner with daily specials. Favorites include the drunken noodles, pad thai, green curry chicken, and tom kha. They offer a kids’ menu as well, with simple flavors such as chicken fried rice, chicken and noodles, and chicken and steamed vegetables. Outdoor seating is available, and they also have a full bar. 2. Altruda’s Italian 

Paul Meyer, the owner of Altruda’s, has been in the restaurant business for over 30 years, and he’s learned a thing or two along the way. “Altruda’s is all about people…and homemade salad and garlic rolls,” he says. The restaurant is open only for dinner, and it serves a full menu, from hot appetizers to a variety of rustic Italian entrees (including vegetarian options), and of course, fresh salad and garlic rolls. There is a full bar, and the ambiance is casual and intimate. Altruda’s is located at 125 N. Peters Rd. Business hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

3. Northshore Brasserie

Boasting a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, Northshore Brasserie is a family-owned restaurant and bar serving French Belgian cuisine. They offer full lunch and dinner menus, with a lunch buffet on weekdays and a brunch buffet on Sundays. Dinner options include classics such as roasted chicken, mussels, steak frites, and handmade pastas. At the bar, you can enjoy Belgian beers, craft cocktails, and wines from around the world. Northshore Brasserie is located at 9430 S. Northshore Drive. Business hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

4. Cazzy’s Corner Grill

The mission of the owners and staff at Cazzy’s Corner Grill is to provide food and drinks that meet the highest standards of quality and freshness. The restaurant features classic American cuisine in a comfortable, relaxed setting. They serve a full lunch and dinner menu, complete with vegetarian options and alcoholic beverages. Happy Hour is 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Sunday brunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cazzy’s Corner Grill is located at 2099 Thunderhead Road.
